Back-to-school 2026: which certified iPhone for lycée, prépa or uni — budgets in €

The real back-to-school question is not “which iPhone is best?”
It is: with a fixed euro budget, should you pay for a newer model, more storage, a cleaner grade, or a Pro?
This guide splits about €250 / €400 / €550 into concrete bands for French families — before you compare units one by one.

Three sensible paths:
- iPhone 14 grade C — newer generation, cosmetic wear accepted.
- iPhone 13 Pro grade B/C — if ProMotion / telephoto matter more than the year.
- Cleaner iPhone 13 (grade A/B) — if looks beat the model number.
Enough for WhatsApp, notes, social, short video, light games. Do not sacrifice storage just to put “Pro” in the name. If your current phone is already full at 128 GB, fix storage first.

About €320–480: the back-to-school sweet spot
Want newer and simple? iPhone 15
